NFL
The NFL, or National Football League, is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams. It is one of the major professional sports leagues in the United States and is widely regarded as the premier league for American football. The NFL is divided into two conferences: the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC), each of which contains four divisions.
The league was founded in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association before being renamed the NFL in 1922. The season typically runs from September to February, culminating in the Super Bowl, which is the championship game of the league and one of the most-watched sporting events globally. The NFL is known for its competitive nature, high-level athletic performance, and significant cultural impact in the U.S. and beyond.
